Create a Microsoft Account

Needed for OneDrive, the Office Store, and certain other Office 2013 features. Note when signing-up from within the college, there is a limit on the number of accounts that can be created daily. You may want to create an account from home.


Office 2013 Tips

Is the look too bright for you? To change the theme:

1. In any Office 2013 application, selectFile/Options/General.

2. Select an alternate Office Background and Office Theme.

3. Click OK when done.



Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 is part of the Microsoft Office suite and is available via the subscription based Microsoft Office 365 or for individual computer installation. 

Here, features specific to Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 are presented, as well as a basic introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint  and how to best use it. Helpful tips and information on some more advanced features and tools are also presented

This guide references Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 in the PC version.  The Mac version has the same features, but they are accessed differently.
