    Mathematic videos and practice exercises. Sections cover arithmetic and pre-algebra, algebra, calculus and many more!
  • MathPlayground
    Math Playground is a popular learning site filled with math and thinking games, step-by-step instructional videos, math practice, and problem solving activities. Althugh geared toward kids it reinforces concepts in a fun way!
  • Math.com
    A large Website best for basic mathematics assistance, such as fractions, decimals, or exponents, but it does contain more advanced math information.
  • Test Prep Review
    This site has practice questions with answers and a basic explanation for a large grouping of standardized tests, including the COMPASS assessment.
  • Gamequaruim.org
    Links to other math sites geared to those who like to practice their skills through games.
  • Math Drills (Worksheets)
    Free worksheets covering numerous math topics. Answers are available but explanations are not.
  • Math Worksheets and Math Printables
    Algebrahelp.com is a math help site created to help people learn algebra in new and innovative ways. The site has three primary features: Lessons, Calculators, and Worksheets. Explanations are available.
  • Kuta Software (free worksheets)
    Algebra worksheets with answers (no explanations)

Learning Express Library in the Online Library

The Learning Express Library contains a number of general education resources including books and exercises in math and reasoning, public speaking, reading comprehension, statistics, vocabulary and spelling, and writing and grammar.  It has tutorials on many software products including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.  It also has practice tests for the COMPASS as well as for a number of occupational certificatons.

However it is only accessible through the Online Library regardless of where you are!

To access the The Learning Express Library:

  1. Log in to the onlne library through the links above.  If you are a student click on the LIBRARY button on you home page.
  2. Click on the button "Find by Resource"
  3. Select on "All Resources"
  4. Click on the "Learning Express Library" link

Once in the Learning Express Library:

  • You will need to register (it's free!).  Choose any username and password that you'll remember.
  • Once you are registered and have signed in you can choose the item(s) you'd like to use.
  • Popular Software Tutorials - tutorials for Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Academic Skills for College Students - books and exercises for skill set building and reinforcement.
